Uma Thurman and Debra Messing were seen in traditional Indian costumes of Saree and Salwar Kurta as they filmed scenes for the new musical 'Smash' in New York City today.The actresses apparently were very pleased to walk in NYC in their Indian clothes in Bollywood spirit! The trend seems Bollywood actresses wear western clothes in Indian movies, while Hollywood actresses wear Indian outfits in Hollywood productions ;)
The musical series Smash is due to hit TV screens in America this week Feb 6, 2012, before it airs in the UK later this year. Smash is the behind-the-scenes look at a team preparing to put on a Broadway musical about the life of Marilyn Monroe. Debra is said to have a starring role in the drama, while Uma is a guest appearance in just one episode.
